The 2027 Chevy Bolt is coming soon to Nimnicht Chevrolet in Jacksonville, FL, and we couldn't be more thrilled. After a few years of dormancy, the return of the all-electric Chevy hatchback is much appreciated. With a versatile, well-equipped cabin and impressive all-electric stats (like DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in 26 minutes2), the Bolt is poised to make a big impact on the affordable EV market.
The Chevy Bolt is designed to be a consistently enjoyable drive, and the single motor engine does exactly that, producing 210 horsepower and 169 pound-feet of torque. The Chevy Bolt is part of the brand's efforts to provide innovative EV performance to a larger market via an accessible price point.
Perhaps even more impressive are the interior specs. As you'll see in our 2027 Chevy Bolt vs. 2026 Nissan Leaf guide, the subcompact Chevy Bolt feels spacious and welcoming. You'll relax with 44.3 inches of front-row legroom and 39.1 inches of rear-row legroom. Your trunk is perfectly capable, with a maximum storage space of 56.3 cubic feet (with the rear row down).

As you can see in the chart above, your Chevy Bolt is one of the longest-range affordable SUVs currently on the market. At 255 miles,1 the 2027 Chevy Bolt electric car can be your sole travel companion for work and play for multiple days without needing to recharge.
Your charging options are all efficient and snappy. Even if you just plug your dual cable into a standard wall outlet, you'll charge four miles per hour2 – enough to top off at a friend's house or at work. Capable Level 2 NACS port charging stations can add up to 40 miles per hour, getting you back in action in about 6.4 hours.2 On a road trip? A Level 3 DC fast charging station can get you from 10% to 80% in less than half an hour.2

Designing your subcompact hatchback is easier than ever, thanks to the bevy of exterior and interior colors now available for the EV. You can shop or custom-order your model with the following selection:
Your interior depends slightly on trim level: The standard LT comes in Jet Black with blue and gray accents, with your choice of cloth or Evotex material. Upgrade to the RS level, and you'll get black Evotex with red accents.

As one of the future electric vehicle options in our Chevy EV inventory, the 2027 Chevy Bolt brings an impressive lineup of features that prioritize comfort, convenience, and safety. Get behind the wheel, and an 11.3-inch diagonal infotainment screen greets you, using Google built-in, entertainment apps, and streaming services to keep your family happy as you drive. Available amenities in the RS include multi-color ambient lighting, giving you a taste of luxury alongside a reimagined exterior.
Over 20 standard (and more available) safety features are here to give you peace of mind. You'll enjoy Intersection Collision Mitigation, Rear Automatic Braking, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert with Braking, no matter your model or add-on decision. For those who want extra help on the road, consider Super Cruise, a semi-autonomous driving assistance system.

The Chevy Bolt is coming back to our store after being discontinued for a few model years, and we couldn't be happier. When it was first released, I remember how many people were excited to see a bold Chevrolet take on what an accessible EV looks like. Nearly everything has been upgraded from the 2023 edition – from the motor to the interior. What hasn't changed is its dedication to you. It's just as affordable, stylish, and versatile as ever.

"Really excited about this conceptually. I adore my Bolt and glad to see it not be dead. It’s the right size, it’s fast, it still has buttons and knobs and feels like a car rather than a spaceship. "

On a full charge, the 2027 Chevy Bolt is estimated (by General Motors) to reach a maximum of 255 miles.1 This is plenty for a week of driving to and from work without needing to recharge your vehicle. However, the Chevy Bolt can be charged easily, thanks to its standard NACS charging port and the available Level 1, 2, and 3 charging solutions.
When using a DC fast charger, the 2027 Chevy Bolt can charge from 10% to 80% in just 26 minutes.2 This is perfect for road trips, letting you and your family stretch, get some food, and take a walk while your EV gets back to an appreciable range. We recommend not letting your battery drop below 20% frequently and charging to just 80% for the health of your battery.
The 2027 Chevy Bolt is expected to join our Chevy inventory in early 2026.
