Billie Nimnicht III is a third generation car dealer, and is fourth generation in the automobile business. His great grandfather, Ed Nimnicht, was the Asst. General Sales Manager for Chevrolet Motor Division before he retired from GM. In 1941 his grandfather, Bill Nimnicht Sr., started the family's first dealership, Riverside Chevrolet, which is now Nimnicht Chevrolet. Billie's father, Bill Nimnicht Jr., operated the dealership from 1967 until his death in late 2001. Since that time, Billie III has been dealer/operator at Nimnicht Chevrolet.
Billie began his career at the age of 14 by working summers at the dealership. He began full time in 1988 after receiving a business degree from the University of Florida. He attended the NADA (National Automobile Dealers Association) Dealer Candidate Academy. Among his community and charitable achievements, he is the Past President of the Jacksonville Automobile Dealers Association and Past President of the Jacksonville Quarterback Club. He currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Gator Bowl Association. Billie III is also currently serving as a chairman on the National Commercial Dealer Council.
Billie Nimnicht III is married to his wife, Amanda, and has two children, Adair (14) and Billie IV (6). He enjoys coaching his son's T-Ball team, playing tennis, and traveling with his family. He is an avid Florida Gators fan, and supports the Jacksonville Jaguars and Jacksonville University Dolphins.
